Would you like to see Brandy back in the team once his four game suspension is over?
I personally would give him another run in the team as I think he has a lot of potential to contribute to the team with his pace and trickery, a area I think we have been lacking lately.
His discipline as been very poor and hopefully Clough can sort that out.

I'd say yes, if he sorts out the mardy lashing out and stops fucking diving all the time. It really pisses me off about him that he's more focused on hitting the deck than actually getting past a defender. Being shit is one thing, I can't deal with us being cheats too.

What he said

No he is a hot head and won't change can't afford another game like Shrewsbury.

There's one thing for sure if he steps out of line with Clough he'll be gone.
If he sorts himself out I think we've got a decent player for this league
Surely he knows the only way is down for him if he screws up here.

No for me. He's shown very little end product for his supposed trickery on the occasions when he's managed to keep his petulance under control, and the risk of him getting a stupid sending off outweighs anything he can add to the team.

Brandy is a tricky call. If Clough can get him under control (he did manage to control Jaimie Ward) and if Brandy can be taught how to be more effective with his pace (crosses, shots not just dribbling round the whole opposition team) then yes. I suspect he'll come back to the bench and probably have some more issues (likely marked by refs now). Clough's patience will be the key, and his comments about discipline when Brandy was last sent off do not auger well for the kid.

Unfortunately, Brandy doesn't appear to have a lot between his ears - perhaps that's why he never made it anywhere he's been to date.
Seems to have a modicum of talent and a bit of pace - until he sorts himself out he's no good to anybody !

I like him, he scares defenders to death when he runs at them. Think he's in last chance saloon though

Not sure.

How many chances do you let him have?

We need his good attributes in the team.

Aye, we've really suffered without all those chances he doesn't create.

I know what you're saying, but this attributes of his had led to virtually nothing positive while he's been on the pitch.

If he has learned his lesson....then yes, definitely yes. When he's actually on the pitch he does have a positive effect on our general play and has already got 2 or 3 assists.

It would however have to be his last chance for me. Three strikes and out.

I think Clough should give him 1 more chance as he has the skill and ability to be a really good player, especially at this level.

Unfortunately, apart from Miller perhaps, he's the only player at our club who can frighten the opposition and thrill our fans. I would give him oONE more chance but he should be told in no uncertain terms that there will be no more chances if he messes up again before he plays

Brandy's record speaks for itself:
0 goals... 1 assist (I believe)... 2 red cards

2 red cards is an appalling record for any player in just half a season, Brandy did it in less than half a season. No he shouldn't be brought back into the team until he has proven that he can compete at this level properly unlike the other dross in the team.

Brandy likes to play deep as he looks good at going past players near the halfway line but doesnt do many things in the final third of the pitch to hurt the opposition enough

In a rubbish team managed for most of the season so far by a rubbish rookie manager. None of our players have come up smelling of roses so far. His two red cards demonstrate stupidity, not inability.

He's potentially a very good player and anyone who can't see that is refusing to see it. With Brandy it's all about his attitude and behaviour. If he concentrates on playing football he will become a cult hero, he's got all the tools.

Acquiring a red card is an inability to follow the rules of the game. Of course it's stupidity but it's undoubtedly inability also.
And yes potentially anybody can be a very good player. However with Brandy I just can't see him making it above League 1 level. The diving and ill-discipline obviously plays a huge part in why I think that. From what I've seen of him there's no denying he's a tricky so and so but he's also a cheating, petulant little tosser. (As are all footballers really)

If you were a defender, who would you least want to mark out of Ryan Flynn, Aidy White, Simon Lappin and Febian Brandy?

and he needs to get his studs sorted ...

The one I know I have most chance of winding up to the extent he gets himself sent off, giving my team a one man advantage. :-)

Brandy plays when he's demonstrated in sufficient reserve games that he can show he's learned the self discipline needed to show he can deliver on his (for this team, right now) undoubted promise.
