Transfer strategy starting to become clear at least - let's recruit as many Ben Osborn type players as possible. Right sided version in Shackleton, Cunt version in Williams, sound.
 
Are we reverting to just signing only left backs? All of which of course will be injured/shit.

One to steer well clear of. Due in Court for 3 days in March 2025 on dangerous driving charge that can carry custodial sentence of 2 years if found guilty. It would be so Sheffield United to sign him, Williams puts in stellar performances and gets sent down with 2 months of the season left. Clearly has problems off the field that need addressing.
 
Always found it a bit odd he is right footed but plays left back.

Already scored at the Lane.

Would give flexibility of playing either full back role plus isn’t short either at 1.80m.

Has a couple of years on loan, one at Norwich and promotion at Ipswich.

A slight bit of Clinton Baptiste about his wiki, but hopefully he’s over that phase of his life!

Either way, the sort of caliber of player we should be considering.

I think there a difference between having a right footer play left back and left wing back. A wing back really is your primary source of width and having a right footer will really limit that. I know some players have been successful there, particularly more attacking ones, but I really do not like it as a tactic. In Wilders previous spell, using the full width the pitch a was really important part of the system, even it was made at times by the centre halves overlapping the wing backs.

Shame the court case isn't until March 2025 or he could've started the season on more points than the Blades.

Mirrors work backwards, so if for what ever bizarre reason you thought Ashley Cole was right footed, it's possible you was watching the game via a mirror as this would make it appear that Ashley Cole is right footed, when in reality he is left footed. The mirror would cause an illusion.


For example, stand in front of a mirror and raise your right hand. It will appear as if your left hand is raised in the mirror image.

Can we get one thing clear, mirrors don’t “cause an illusion” 😂. Reflections are very real
 
Bumping this, the lad is still without a club, surely a huge waste of talent, and as a free signing............... Worth a punt.....?
