We should be all over this but for one thing. He will be on Man Utd stupid wages (even if he was a youngster breaking through). The wank stain that is Man Utd will be paying him probably around 100k a week.

That said, if I am totally wide of the mark here and he wasn't on huge wages, he would be a great signing for us.

Leeds linked to him. Can’t compete with parachute payments if they come in for him.
 
Baldock and him down the flanks would be a very good solid option for us

Think our LWB may need to have a bit more offensive spark though, ideally. We have to be able to attack effectively down both sides, with no serious weak links
 
Man Utd have just released this kid. Played 15 times for Ipswich last season and can play at both left or right back.
 
Also read he was on 65k a week at old Trafford. Incredible.
 
not for me looked promising when he first came through at manure but has gone backwards imo

If he is trouble with a capital T no thanks . That might be the reason they want to off load him .

Wilder had him here on loan when he was a young kid.
He was highly rated then so must have lost his way a bit.

Williams is the type Wilder would ordinarily be interested in taking on. Good player with some rough edged c*nt features, just waiting for the right manager......

I'm not sure he'd dare take this sort of punt now though. Doesn't have a good enough recent record to back it up
