Think you are quoting the playoff semi final against Stevenage when many Blades were flat after missing a big chance of auto promotion.

We played Stevenage 2 weeks earlier when we needed to win to go up but drew 2-2 (still remember the last minute close range volley from Beattie that was cleared off the line) and had our biggest crowd of over 30,000.

Forgot about that. Almost 10,000 fans who went to that game didn't bother with the Play Off semi. OK it was live on Sky but that's a massive fall.

I still have nightmares about that season. I was at Wembley but couldn't watch the penalty shoot out. I've still not seen a recording of it. If we go up, I might just bring myself to watch it.

If we carry on at this rate we'll probably be crowned Champions let alone promoted before we play the Bantams, we've got a 7 point lead as it is with only 12 remaining.

However I'm not getting carried away that we will before this game, in fact I think I'd prefer to become Champions/promoted at this game - Yorkshire derby at an electric BDBL in front of the Sky cameras could turn into a magnificent day!

God that would be incredible. A performance that tops everything we've shown this season, spank Bradford 3 or 4 nil, and be crowned champions in front of the cameras. 10,000+ Blades occupy every pub in a 2 mile radius afterwards, and the party goes on into the small hours of Tuesday morning.
