To answer the question: Yes, a few people round us were bored - and ironically were pretty boring with how much they went on about it.

Otoh me and WHF Jr Sr thought we played some really great football tonight. Looking forward to watching it all over again on BP tomorrow.

Can't complain with a 3-0 win at all. It's not as if we were lucky to win or it was a freak game or anything. I think a lot of the frustrations tonight stemmed from previous recent games. It was similar to the Blackpool game as a match but as we were on a good run then the crowd stuck by us. I just hope we can put together 5 or 6 good results now

The Fleetwood manager said they were better in the middle part of the pitch but not in the two areas. Maybe if they had tried to attack they would have created something but they didn't seem interested

The Fleetwood manager is wrong... they were poor throughout, with the exceptions with a view passages of play during the first half. The few attacks they had were so poor.

Another game on Saturday morning ,we pass it about take it easy at 3-0 up and still people moan

Now I'm the biggest clapper in the world, but apart from the welcome three points, which actually is the most important thing, I was pretty bored. It's a lot less boring though, when they're passing, passing, passing at 3-0, than it is at 1-0! I must be a masochist too, as I enjoyed the Oldham game more.

We beat a team who'd just demolished Burton 4-0 and did it at a canter. Was that despite the football we played, or because of the football we played?

If we had played like buccaneering cavaliers what would we have won by?

Given how apparently terribly we played and how much better it should have been, at least twice as many goals seems reasonable so 6-0? 7-0? More?

What would an acceptable result have been?

At the end I thought it was basically: we're 3-0 up so come and get the ball.

They're thinking if we go and get the ball we'll get picked off.

It's also an opportunit, if the opposition have given up, to conserve energy and avoid injury. Although Billy did try and start a fight.

You've got MOTD/Sky syndrome developing. You've watched to many highlights of games where they show 10 minutes of action and skip 80 minutes of rubbish. The remedy is easy. At the next live game close you eyes and only open them when the crowds voices sound excited or you hear things like shoooooot, gerrrrin and the like. That way you will only see the exciting bits.
