I didn't like it when he didn't celebrate his goal against us at the Keepmoat. Scoring a goal should always mean something whoever the opponents.

He has every right to celebrate his goal today but should have stuck to his own fans and team-mates. The gesticulating to the Blades fans (who to be fair always supported Billy and always wanted him to do the business for United) was what got him jeered. Add in the dramatics and the all-round cocky attitude after the goal and he was always going to get booed.

My opinion is simply that he is opposing player that failed at BDTBL. His quarrel was with Blackwell, not the Blades fans - after all, he is/was one of us. I think his attitude towards the Blades supporters was wrong and he got what he deserved. It was just a shame there wasn't a nice loud rendition of 'Billy, what's the score?' at the end ...

So 64 games in 2 seasons suggests he was given a chance. It was more down to the fact he had shit ability, shit mentality or a mixture of the two.

Billy Sharp has never been a fucking blade. If he has any concept of what it means to be one, he wouldn't have celebrated. Simple as. Fair enough, he is paid an awful lot of money by Doncaster to score goals. I don't think even the most one eyed of us would disagree that he has to do his job.
But why rub our noses in it as supporters? He never had anything other than support from the fans when he played at the lane, even when he was struggling to score goals.

Why come back and taunt the fans who used to sing his name? No Blade would do that, ever.
