Good player, but 6.5 million for someone playing in the SPL seems a bit too pricey for me. Should definitely be looking to pick up some permanent signings in forward positions imo and this type of player profile is what we should be aiming for.

Celtic will be selling Matt O'Riley for £30 million if the bid comes in, a bid which is expected. If a £30 million bid or a bid north of £20 million plus a good player doesn't come in he isn't going anywhere. And he won't stamp his feet and sulk.
Kyogo Furahashi would bring in £20 million, Reo Hatate £10 million - £15 million, Cameron Carter Vickers at least £10 million.

Good players do exist in the SPL, just like they do in other weaker leagues like the Danish, Croatian, Swedish and Norwegian Leagues.

There's even some bargains in the Portuguese League. In fact if you are not a regular at Benfica, Sporting or Porto those clubs almost feel duty bound to let players leave to build a career instead of doing what our top clubs do and stockpile them, then ruin them by paying them so much that they don't want to go anywhere else.
And who said players only want to play football.
