Adam Clayton goes to the top of that list if he's at all realistic.

Talking of Ryan Kent, article in this mornings rag saying Liverpool (Klopp) pissed off with loaning his players out and them not getting much game time

Says that they are now contemplating introducing financial penalties to clubs who loan their players and then don't play them

If that is correct, I think any loans we go for won't include Liverpool players

If the Klopp story carries weight, then my own opinion is that I hope all lower league clubs fk them off and let the Liverpool players rot in the reserves if that is indeed his view. Loan players, whether Liverpools or anyone elses should get in the side on merit, not because they come form some jumped up Premier League club. The benefit of loaning players out doesn't just suit the club loaning the said player, but also gives valuable first team experience to the said loanee and improves preparation for the player returning to his parent club to enable him to push for a first team place, therefore everyone benefits.

Spot on 58. We've been caught a few times with players being loaned not to get them game time but just use us as a testing ground (I suspect for players they are thinking of ditching e.g. coffe)
 
Erhun Oztumer - I didn't put him in the O/P because I didn't see space for him in our squad. But I think there's a possibility Carruthers could leave, in which case there would be. He's a difference maker thanks to his quality end product. Out of contract in the summer and should be easy to sign.

Something to consider here is how well Duffy's stepped up to the Championship. Oztumer is younger and was arguably better than Duffy last season - he at least got plenty more goals and assists. I don't think there's any doubt he could step up. Certainly at a club he wouldn't be expected to start every game.

Now this would be a good signing, I have no doubt he can make the strep up. However I would not be surprised if others at Champ level weren’t sniffing around as well which could complicate things as I don’t think we will engage in bidding wars.

Should have looked at him last summer before he signed a new contract. Although Plymouth aren't doing very well at the moment

We did. He knocked us back and signed a new contract at Plymouth.

We were linked with him in the summer but I can't see us going for him now, since he signed a new contract in the summer. A loan signing is more likely I think to cover/push Duffy.

All targets have now been canceled or placed on hold. We have to reduce Agent payments. We have now signed akatrien Meire, as well as payments to C.C, Sir Nigel and our new Agent caretaker manager.
