My missus regularly turns up with a mountain of Field Mushrooms I don't think she's bought a mushroom all year but eats them regularly (I don't like mushrooms) and she really does wax lyrical about the Blue Stalks but they do seem to be rare.

B*u* Stalks is that code for *l*e stripes, just asking like. For a friend you understand.
Brother in law used to bring 'em back after his work trips out in the Lincolnshire country side, some almost as big as a dinner plate. I never tried them.
