Serious point, but I think it's because CW is a Unitedite. Not the whole story as so was Adams but he was a crap manager, but it seems obvious CW was keeping an eye on United even before Badkins was sacked, knew what was required and hit the ground running. A few dodgy results early on, but wholly understandable given the massive change in personnel. But look at us now!
