Is every thread now created just bad faith hate aimed at Wilder?Too much football says Chris Wilder meanwhile....
I think a friendly in the middle of a 3 week break sounds a good idea. 3 weeks for fucks sake. I don't doubt some of our players really need a rest but I also think some need matches. The trick is working out who needs what.
Twisted and taken in bad faith. Not my words. The words of Chris Wilder.
Yes, lots of matches packed together and then a three week break with none. Genuinely pathetic this, just own it.He literally complained about the schedule of matches.
There’s lots of things to be having a go at Wilder for right now, arranging a friendly half way through a 3 week international break is not one of them
Second? A first pre season would be a start...Our lot need to be having a second pre-season on the training ground.
Good idea? You do know we'll probably pick up another 2-3 injuries where Wilder will slag of the fixture list.I think a friendly in the middle of a 3 week break sounds a good idea. 3 weeks for fucks sake. Sure, but I don’t think 1 friendly in 3 weeks is a bad thing. He is the one saying players needed a rest and he wanted to work with them during the international break.
It’s a fine line. It is the best part of a month off game time. If they work on tactics then having a genuine team to practice against rather than just themselves can only be positive, provided we don’t get injuries but then that is part of football.A match midweek of International Break is a good thing. Keeps the players "match fit". Many a time we come back looking like we havent played for months. Wilder was complaining about the match schedule with 3 games in a week. One game in 3 weeks is not what he was complaining about and will be seen as part of the planning of what he wants to do during the break. Its also been said One and Seriki will be back after the break too so what better way to have them get back to speed is via a proper match which lets be honest half the side of Hull is ex Sheffield United players so its going to be a friendly match.
Send them to the army camp, Dave Bassett style! The better idea would be the club getting the manager all the players he need going into pre season training so they are fit for the first game, not needing to recruit eight players (should be more) going into a new season. If you can marry that to not selling your best three players that were actually in situ at the start of pre season, that can surely only help too. But then how do you get the money for the eight loans/frees? Quite the quandary
Apologies for the post not fitting the agenda by the way
Just so you know: the choice next season is renewing a plie of shite or signing closer to 15-20 players when our better remaining permanents are picked off (could be Jan actually) and the dross is out of contract and hopefully not renewed. I'm sure they'll all be here for the start of preseason. If not it will 100% be the managers fault when we're getting run over this side of Christmas with a dearth of both talent and fitness. I've copied some of the above post for next season so I can pass them off as my own work . Tempted to keep them for the following season too. I think they'll be needed.
Anyway, I'm off to google "Structural Problems".
Donovan could miss Stoke with the shits and some on here would blame Wilder. Is every thread now created just bad faith hate aimed at Wilder?
