if blackwell stays then how many fans will not renew season tickets next season.
hopefully the board have thought about this.
i do not believe all the injuries we have had is down to bad luck and this view is shared with me
by a former well known physio from the lane.
he put it down to the training and conditioning so that is blackwells fault because he brought them in.

do we get rid of blackwell and his regime and employ someone like steve coppell who has got a proven
track record and plays quality football.
with all the loans we have got at the seasons end we will be left with about 8 first team players still under contract so wouldn't this be an ideal situation and time to bring in a new manager so he can build his own team ?

Im not renewing.

1. Dont have the money really
2. Dont want to go if Blackwell is going to here next year

I'm considering not renewing. I've had a season ticket since I was 4/5 years old and now at 21 it's the first time matches are starting to feel like a bit of a chore.

Well i wont be renewing cuase thank the living Lord i cant afford it. I didnt bother going to the game on saturday because i wanted a kip instead and didnt wake up till 6:15 thank fuck. Instead of people moaning and saying i'm not renewing for whatever reason make sure you back it up with actions and McCabe might suddenly think"err oh dear why aren't people buying season tickets.I know, maybe its because they are fed up watching utter dog shit all time".

What has happened to supporting the TEAM!!! All this not renewing rubbish cause Blackwell is in charge is a cop out!

I will be renewing, not because im happy with what ive seen this season, and not because i have any great expectations next season, but because im a blade, and support my club NO MATTER WHAT!

I moved abroad last summer and was gutted at the thought of giving up my season ticket, actually I haven't missed it as much as I thought I would (although I still listen to virtually all the games on the internet). The football was dull in 08/09 and it sounds a whole lot worse this season, crowds will be well down next season, I would imagine 20,000 would be a good average unless we start to play a better style of football.

I will not be renewing because I don't like being taken for a cnut and not even SUFC are immune from that...

I thought an old blade at work summed it up for me. He said he went to see the Blades in the 70's when Currie and Woodward were there. He said money that players are on at the moment and with the shit they are playing he would not give them a penny of his money. I cant bear the thought that some of my hard sweat my balls off till i die earned money is going to pay their fucking wages. They can fuck off and rot in their nice big cars and nice big houses. Twats.

These injuries were not a problem for the 4 years when Tony Daley was the training and fitness coach and helped us into the Premier League .

How exactly are they doing that?

Come on JD, it's not rocket science FCS. Is this a piss take?

As a season ticket holder I feel that I'm being taken for a cnut by McCabe and I'd be a right royal one too if I stumped up another 400 notes in advance to watch another season of the crap that Blackwell serves up week in, week out.

Bear in mind though that one major difference between Warnock and Blackwell is the size of their squads.

The "quality, not quantity" slogan was romanticised post Warnock, but us rushing players back from injuries, taking chances with players carrying knocks, and our problems in filling the bench this season proves that we must at least have enough players.

amen to that.. and tony daley knew a bit about injuries himself.. i remember that when billy first went to donny he immediately commented on the training being not as intense and him feeling better for it. ive never known so many injuries at the lane.. there must be a reason

I did know what answer to expect, but by that analysis it occurs to me that very few clubs below halfway in the table won't be taking their fans for idiots. Success comes and goes, even if the intentions of those involved remain good.

Do you doubt this, or is it just a case of disagreeing with the methods?

To my mind, Ridsdale's selling of STs on a false pretence is exactly what you describe. What's going on at BDTBL isn't good, but I don't feel we're being mugged for one minute.

We've been getting mugged for years JD, along with the fans of many other clubs. Most of us have woken up to the fact.
