I thought Howard was OK, just. Henderson isn't fit but needed to offer more. Bromby is adequate as cover. Thankfully Bennet is only cover. Anyone can make a mistake but my opinion of him was already formed.

Thats what I dont understand...Today, there was nearly more cheers when Quinn was taken off than when we scored and it can do nothing for his confidence. But he always seems to get given the chance to prove himself, but very rarely does. He needs dropping, not chances. Im still mad at how Quinny played, he was beyond belief.

that was shocking beyond belief. billy sharp had an ok game and yes he scored but it was against prot vale, i was suprised at henderson playing especially as he wasnt going to be ready for middlesborough and now hes played two in 5 days. quinn needs to b shipped out iv started another thread on him on here and im sorry tonight was just the tip of the icberg he offers the team nothing and im sorry to say nothing will change, howard also did ok but its not good enough teams like that he should be ripping them apart, reid i wasnt impressed thought he looked encouraging in pre season but tonight he looked to left footed he just went one way in to a corner. bennett just had a bad day at the office hes played before for us and looked conifdent so it may be just a one off. im hoping blackwell realised now and goes and get these midfielders we need that will take us places but i can see quinns name already wrote down on the team sheet for saturday and whats worse howards name is next to him. rant over haha

Quinn had been absoluetely shocking since the middle to end of last season. As has howard, and blackwell has had all the transfer window to fix this problem and he fking hasn't.

Im actually embarrassed to call myself a blade, Port Vale? What the hell.. i dind't go to the match and im glad i didn't but looking at everyone's reports and just at how i know this is Vale's biggest acheivement in years, it's just shocking.

I also thought Little played well, but was very close to passing out on the pitch! He was knackered, but him and Reid were the two that stood out from the match for me, for good reasons. I could go on about some that stood out for bad reasons

maybe im been a bit to critical to be fair im just really annoyed not so much with team but blackwell for ages now we all know what part of the team we needed and nothing has been done. reid thinking back was the only player that made an attempt to create something and made runs forward. credit where its due, little looked to have touches of the bit of extra class but tired terribly towards the end which is expected, just hope blackwell well do something now about the midfield but somehow i doubt it...
