Blackwell Out Hijackers

As more and more threads on this forum are being hijacked by the "Blackwell Out!" side of the Great Footballing Argument I am starting to wonder where they will pop up next.

Will they appear on the news, demanding that the newsreader talks about how shit Blackwell is, instead of the Muntab Question?

Will they hijack the weather, demanding that Rob McElwee flies the programme immediately to a non-extradition country, "and none of that hoofball trickery while you're at it"?

Will they appear in the middle of Coronation Street, lambasting Betty's Hotpot for it's lack of proper football, just like Blackwell?

Can we expect to see them on a Greenpeace boat? "Fuck the whales, the plankton eating bastards! They are backing Blackwell!" EH? "Well, none of them are in the Lane car park, waving shoes and chanting 'Blackwell Out' are they? Harpoon them all, the fuckers!"

This may seem a bit harsh having a dig at one side and not the other, but it seems that more and more of the threads end up in a "Blackwell Out" stylie, regardless of how they start. And for the record, me moaning about this does not equate to my support of Blackwell.

I took her and Small SV for lunch, and now they are watching some cack on the telly. I have been kicked off the settee. So much for being the king of this castle. Might open the champers when Small SV goes to bed.

Seems to be the adolescent thing, to dare to do something when mummy isn't watching. I probably miss some real good jokes and interesting posts because I find myself just scrolling past stuff. Shouting people down - burying us in repetitive posts - is not about debate or even sharing opinions, it's more like verbal swarming. Fortunately, the majority on here have something to say and for the most part respect others who post. Hopefully you will keep going and we will all find better ways of ignoring those who just annoy. What a load of absolute rollocks. How many more posts moaning about what people put on here? Burying us in repetitve posts. It's a bloody forum. If you don't like it either ignore it or post about some aspect of SUFC that you want to talk about. I'll gladly get stuck in, you'll probably disagree because I'm a glass half empty person where SUFC is concerned and think Blackwell is the worse manager in the division, by a long way.

I respect anybody who comes on here and wants to have a talk about SUFC. You don't seem interested in doing that. Like you say, read some of the threads if you can be arsed and I think you'll find some decent debates, even on the subject of Blackwell.

You've hit the nail on the head there. It requires a lot of effort and committment to find the good stuff on this forum at the moment. Sometimes the effort is worth it, sometimes it isn't and most times i can't be bothered (or don't have time) to try.

If you count the posts and read others than your own you will see I am capable of finding something to say. However, I note your last line and place it against your riposte to Cooperblade. I can only assume he warrants that level of sarcasm cause he's a buddy of yours. Otherwise it hardly fits with your claim or perhaps your concept of a debate. I joined the forum cause we shared views not insults. Sure we ain't perfect, we have a joke (see rest of thread) but as an infrequent participant I do tire of the aimless rants. UTB!

Obviously you are managing to be quite selective in what you read if you have not seen any examples. I am not a computer nerd so don't have the time to dig them out and repost them, but we have had many posts on here which were simply a paragraph of insults where someone was trying to demonstrate how many vulgar or gross acts they could interpret.

Say you do not like what X is doing but why does a comment on his soccer ability have to be linked to how or where he likes to masturbate. I find this apparent need to demonstrate the 'strength' of an argument by adding comments on bodily functions quite adoloscent. I accept the odd detour as folk care and get upset but I feel some quite loose track and focus on the insults. End of sermon. UTB!
