Cannon and Donovan causing problems up top is nice to see. Solid all over the pitch, good half from the Blades.

Cannon, good movement for his goal and took it well. Has looked better tonight (reverted to type on the second clean through chance though).

But holy fuck this Blackburn (reserve) defence looks league 2 at best. They're allover the place.
Should be a lot more than 1 up.

I enjoyed that half actually after not particularly expecting to when the line up was announced.

Donovan was exciting, love the way he’s able to take the ball on at pace and change direction. He’s got something about him.

The 4 lads at the back have all been decent. Good showing from McGuinnes again.

Campbell needs to keep his hands to himself and concentrate on the football rather than trying to push people over.

Cannon could’ve had a hattrick on another day, he’s drifted in and out the game a bit but he’s done well overall

A decent first half performance, with some nice football at times.

Positives so far:

• Donovan looks better and better each game and I can see him being a real threat this season if he carries on like this.
• I’m warming to Rothwell and thought he was controlling the middle of the park as the game went. Also offers a threat around their box
• Although Canon should have got a second, he’s putting in a good performance, with a lovely touch for the shot he put over
• McGuinness and Baptise look good (MM especially)
• Two good saves by Davis

Needs improvement:

• Campbell needs to get involved more. He’s been. Anonymous for most of the half
• I had hoped for more from Marsh. I know he’s young, but thought he’s been poor so far

Overall, thought we did well and had a pattern of play at times. More please

Donovan best player by miles. Riedewald and Campbell both decent for me. Marsh poor so far. Dare I say sqad looks FITTER.
