Ever made a mistake yourself?

Not drink driving
It was common knowledge he was always in the Stonehouse so it was unlikely that this would be the first time he had driven pissed just the one time that he got caught. So I would hazard a guess it wasnt just one mistake

Even if true, so what?

Unless he's caused injury or death to someone, he'll just get his licence taken off him. Yes, not the best thing to do in hindsight but he doesn't need a driving licence to do his job.

Would make him an utter twat though if true.

Thankfully it's just complete bull shit.

Last blades player I know who got done for drink driving was Jay Mceveley when he was at Barnsley, bladdered in his Range Rover on west street....my mate nicked him!

Was going to say the same, obviously not the sort of behaviour you want from anyone including United players.

If it's true, he'll get a ban, it won't be a problem for anyone other than Billy as he'd need to sort a lift in to training/matches every day. Hopefully he'd learn his lesson and not do it again.

I can confirm that he was clocked at McDonald's drive thru after the Chessie game.

When he crashed his car after the Spurs away game in March 1972? He was out of 1st team action for nearly a month due to the facial injuries received after hitting the "Keep left" sign. Wasn't aware he was charged for drink driving
It came in handy though because he still had that "keep left" arrow scarred into his face and it sent defenders the wrong way.

Well he's a bloody idiot then.

It's one thing doing something daft when a bit drunk and too young to know better, but drink driving, as a grown man with kids and doing his charities and soccer schools, when he is a well known figure locally and representing the football club as much as he does....he wants his bloody head banging.

There's no excuse for it and he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself.

One time I drank and didn't drive and I still got arrested.

I am 66 years old and i thought that Facebook was invented by a twat for twats,as usual i was right again !!
