Some Wednesday following bellsniff on FB claiming Billy been arrested for drink driving? Seen nothing on news but surely it can't be true?

Just picked up his new Range Rover.

If true, he won't be the first and won't be the last. If guilty, the courts will deal with it.

Currie got nicked once, on Eyre Street.

After trawling through several news sites. There's nothing. Let the pork talk utter shite.. clearly haven't anything better to talk about over at the sty.

Seems like a wind up.

Nowt on SSN and nowt on Twitter.

Anyway they managed to get a thread started on here.

I drove past that shit tip earlier, whoever allowed/designed/built/goes willingly to that fucking monstrosity was/is surely more that fucking drunk!!!!!
Even our lass, who doesn't really care for football and attempts to avoid most things to do with it if possible, which isn't really!!!, commented on how "horrible" it is and that it "looks dirty n like it hasnt been touched since the 70s".
I chuckled!

Yes it was a pity we didn't sign him a few years earlier than we did
I went to watch him in a reserve match at the Lane. There was quite a large crowd, including a number from north of the border who remembered Jinky from his prime

Fortunately we seem to have got out of the habit of signing old has beens

Which reminds me, and this bit should probably be in the tw rats thread
In New Zealand we are plagued by groups, singers etc who were at their peak thirty years and more ago.
Most never performed here then. It was beneath them. Now they roll up, often not members of the original group they claim to be
They should have large labels round their necks marked. ' Beware Pension Top Up Tour'

Aye, really? On Eyre Street an' all eh? Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Should have known better!

I must admit, I don't remember that, but what I would say is that attitudes towards drink-driving now are very different to what they were back in the days when TC was playing. It's become a social stigma and prison sentences are handed out for it. Let's hope it's just a bit of mischief-making by some bored porcine person - because if it is true it's really not good news!

Didnt Jinky Jimmy,God bless the great man, once crash into a lampost on Arundel Gate?
yes but lucky for him he was just walking at the time.

When he crashed his car after the Spurs away game in March 1972? He was out of 1st team action for nearly a month due to the facial injuries received after hitting the "Keep left" sign. Wasn't aware he was charged for drink driving

Bert's memory seems to think he was nicked for drinking.
Can you nip down to the library and check through the old Stars? :)

He crashed Ken Furphy's car when he was an apprentice at Watford. Furphy just said you can pay for it out of your firs England appearance fee.

To be fair you could say that about most of the United side when Johnstone played for us. Not a good time in our history, start of along spiral downwards ending in the 4th Division.
