Strong Twitter (I know) rumours that new investment equals a costly loan equals = Billy Boy coming home?

Would be great if this is true.

But lets be honest here. The lad commands a wage of somewhere in the region of £750k a year and will have other clubs willing and able to pay this no doubt.

And Southampton want to sell rather than loan with a fee north of £1m.

Some folks might be reading a bit too much in to this new funds malarky.

I wouldn't get too excited as it is Twitter but if he was to go anywhere outside the Championship, it would be BDTBL. It would probably add a thousand per game on the gate and could self finance itself a little? Plus the investment means we might be able to cover it. A season long loan with a permanent deal at the end of the season if promoted would be acceptable to Saints I'm guessing?
