Garry Monk, are they taking the piss?
It’s a misprint . They meant Jos Luhukay .

I agree, the only manager on there that 'may' be an upgrade on Wilder is Benitez imho. The rest have suffered much the same has Wilder has this season, but in a lot of cases no real success prior (Billic, Howe and I suppose Pardew to some extent excepted) . If Wilder can learn from this season he may yet turn out to be a great manager. Big season ahead though for Wilder, will he be humble enough to learn though.People who are adamant they want the manager sacked should look at that list. Sobering to say the least.
Brian the Blade?Agreed but who else is there that’s not on the list ?

Does he still frequent Football Heaven along with his opposite in number, the Pitsmoor Pig?
Billy could do a lot worse than looking to start his career over the Derbyshire boarder with “Tarn”. He’d certainly learn a lot and I’m sure we’d offer him some of the kids as Chelsea did with Frank at Derby.I think our next manager will be Billy Sharp tbh, I reckon he will join the coaching staff as player-coach 21/22, and then if Wilder leaves at some point, he will step up as temporary manager...
I think it would be an awful move for both Billy’s confidence and the club, but i can see it happening with this trend of ex-players taking on management roles straight after playing/coaching

I don't get the attraction of Benitez, when he has good players and good resources he's superb, but his Newcastle side was barely any better than Bruce's, playing drab negative football hoping for 0-0 for about 80 minutes of most games even when they were already losing. With even less resources, he'd get us back up, but I'm not sure we'd get an exciting Champs League side out of him.
Rafa would be amazing...the rest can balls!
I think the prince looks like he could be Rafa's Middle Eastern cousin...maybe that's something we could work withKelly Brook riding me until just dust came out would be amazing too, and just as likely.
Rafa would be ace but like Sinatra only played the big venues, he'd only play the big budgets................
Disappointed not to see Ian Holloway and Uwe Rosler mentioned.
Nick Montgomery would be my shout. Doing a great job with CCM yoof.
Probably as good as we could hope for.
Goes to show that it only takes one or two perceived failures after success to send you down the pecking order.Strange though, how at one time of day (many moons ago now) both Holloway and Rosler would have been reasonable shouts

Makes you wonder if Wilder goes, and especially if he gets another job and doesn't do too well, where his future may lie.
There's been some long term managers who've done solid jobs many places but a couple of blips has seen them on the scrapheap.
Curbishley is a good example of this. Eddie Howe was long touted for jobs like Arsenal as well. Wilder would probably be wise to stick with us and rebuild his stock.Goes to show that it only takes one or two perceived failures after success to send you down the pecking order.
