Darlington……sorry I can’t nail it down to one particular moment. End of thread for those who were there. On another point the euphoria that followed Jags goal v Weeds turned to utter bonky madness when Ndlovu netted 2 minutes later!Pretty self explanatory. Not the best game. Not the best goal. Just your favourite single moment following United since 1980. Apologies for the great away game moments that are a little more niche, I've tried to keep it to the really big ones that the most people attended or at least watched
Apologies also if I've missed any really obvious ones
I was at that game. Referee was poleaxed. It was more like an ice ball. I forget the score but think it was a draw and didn't Gary West play centre back. I remember being unimpressed. There are also plenty 'worst moments'. I remember Brian Smith's career ending injury. How can you miss Leicester away out! Also the fan throwing snowball at ref v Halifax in 82!
The pitch invasion after the 5th goal when the police arrested a pitch invader in a Bertie Bassett fancy dress costume!Needed one moment from Leicester and I'm not sure what it would be?
The fifth goal for me - partly cos it's the only one i really remember (i was there, but only 8 years old), but also the absolute delirium when it went in was like nothing i'd ever experienced before or since.Needed one moment from Leicester and I'm not sure what it would be?
That would be the moment we heard the Scum had been relegated over the radio ............. carnage !Needed one moment from Leicester and I'm not sure what it would be?
Not the most popular but I’ve gone for Deano’s lob against Grobbelaar.
It was such a privilege to watch him playing for the Blades during his pomp, at the time he was one of the best strikers in the country.
Legend.
Inseperable second and third for me behind Duffy. These two moments should be on the list. Both are in my top 3.View attachment 128236

Or the Derby equaliser in the last minute to save Wednesday from relegation, which was then disallowed.Luton's winner at Derby, May 5th 1990. It was like you've just shagged Linda Evangelista for 90 minutes and Cindy Crawford walks in to join in the fun.
