Best result of the season so far?

Preston away. Effectively started game week two on 1 point and +2 GD.
Definitely this.
,
Got the deficit wiped out and the season up and running, before anyone else had even kicked a ball.

If we'd have lost that game then we would have been anxiously chasing the pack from the off.

QPR stands out as the one poor result of the season and the manner of it made it worse.

Everything else has been really efficient and results deserved.
Still not hit our stride in the final third and adding some additional options in January would be very helpful, but the solidity that Souttar and Cooper have brought has given us a real opportunity.

Agree with the poster above, keeping hold of Hamer has been the result of the season.
Without him, we'd have been very toothless in the final third.

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about our chances.
We will need a bit of luck on the injury front (Arblaster likely to be out for a while according to whispers), we can't really afford too many more.
Our best XI competes with everyone.
Judging by his dancing around in Manhatta last weekend I'd be surprised if AB's injury is serious 😃

I remember coming away from the QPR match angry and disappointed that we threw away a two goal lead and dropped two points after being in a very commanding position.

But looking back at it now, I think the team learned some very valuable lessons that day and have reaped the benefit of those lessons in the matches since. The last three matches in particular we have seen out relatively comfortably once getting our noses in front.

So as disappointing as a result the QPR match was at the time, the way we've reacted to it since bodes well for the rest of the season.

The negative about being on MINUS 2 points was it puts Wilder and the team under instant pressure, especially as we're in the same league as SWFC.
Wilder is great when things are going well and he oozes confidence and authority
but don't think Wilder handles pressure and criticism well and there's a vocal minority that want him to fail.

Also some of the players will still be in shock from last season, with the club having the habit of losing every week.
So early games were massive.....and a good start was essential.
I really think that comfortable PNE 2-0 away win will help shape our entire season.....so PNE away was our most important/ best result.

Best result so ar, is the lack of injuries.

Very true.
Only serious injuries we've had have been Robinson, T Davies (expected) and obviously Arblaster.

That luck needs to continue as I still think the squad is light on numbers by about 4/5.

The only upside of those injuries, are we have cover in those positions.
I honestly don't know how Robbo gets back in currently, Davies is only a sub anyway, and although we miss Blaster, we have Peck, who's stepping up and doing exactly what he needs to do!!

Hopefully our luck continues, but the difference in fitness between a Wilder side and in Heckys tenure, is night and day so far.

they always say you learn more from mistakes than when you win easily
if properly identified and overcome the more rounded you become

plus its still early days and the squad have learn each others patterns of play, where they move the preferred foot to pass to which side they move into space

looking better every game
