Bashing the oinkers, not the greatest of games TBH, it's just they're crap and could be relegated this season, but it was deeply satisfying.

Other than that it has to be getting a ton and promotion

Blessed with so many unforgettable memories, to choose one is almost impossible, can’t we have a top 5!!? Flipping a coin between Sharp on the pitch lifted up high with scarf in hands or That Duffy goal...both moments pictured and framed on my wall at home..but for me Duffy, just!

What an incredible 12 months...and don't let the last few results tarnish that!

All the obvious ones of course, but a few others which I don't think have been mentioned....

1. The strikes from Duffy and Lafferty at Rochdale...two absolute "Goal of the Season" contenders within 6 minutes of each other

2. Flecks goal v Coventry at home

3. Brooks' finish at Leeds

4. Leon celebrating his double hat-trick v Sunderland [Boxing Day.....well it COULD happen!

And, to finish, if I can be allowed one from the fag end of 2016...the win away at Coventry. To achieve that with all that was going on well, let me tell you, I shed a tear of pride as the winner went in. Good job I

Good call. We showed real backbone at Cov. I don't cry over football but I may have shed a tear from my van Winckel when we scored.

I didn't find out about Duffy's pig-slaying goal until about half an hour after the fact, which rules it out for me.

Moment of 2017...either Billy's goal at Peterborough (the moment I KNEW we were going up), or the atmoshpere and sheer delirium at the beamback (for those of us that couldn't get to Northampton) when Fleck scored. That will live with me for a very long time.

Oh, and Lord CW almost falling off the open-topped bus outside the town hall, trophy in hand, due to over-indulgence in our new official club beer. That was fucking hilarious.

Only indirectly Blades related, by virtue of our win in El Bouncico, but special mention to Carlos Whisper for the sublime "crumpled twenty quid note" routine. Such memories!

SO many memories of 2017. If I could put it into a match I’d have the journey to port vale the first half against the pigs the half time at MK dons the 2nd half against Northampton and the drinking on London road after chesterfield.

"What ees is?, ees twenty pound, what ees is now? (crumple, crumple), ees still twenty pound!"

4 real stand outs for me .

The bouncing day massacre is obviously right up there ..... Fleck silenced them with his peach of a goal and for the other 87 minutes we humiliated them at their own ground in front of the viewing nation .

Peterborough away was a great day out . Thousands of Blades descending on the town . Some great pubs and a great atmosphere . Billys late winner prompted wild celebrations whilst the feeling I had when leaving the ground was one I hadn't experienced in a long, long time ...... i knew we had a special manager and team and there was simply no way we were going to fuck things up .

Chesterfield last match . 100 points and lifting the trophy brought a tear to my eye .

But top of the list go's to Northampton . Darlington, Leicester and Northampton . I'm very fortunate and incredibly proud to have been at all 3 .

The alternative Bouncing Day goal. Dropping the wife in town with her mates, listening to all the build up to the game on RS, hearing how we'd lined up and thinking "shit, they're gonna hammer us here".

Getting to my mums to watch the game and witnessing that superb opening goal from the free kick. When Fleck hit that one in, I jumped up and screamed "Keep that fucker out piggy bastards!" to which my mother gave me the look only a mother can give.

Duffy get's a lot of attention for the that game, as does Clarke. For me, Fleck's goal was the statement of the day.

We're here, we're ready, and we're not fucking about.

You are forgiven of your sins, my son.

If you don't have any rosary beads, you must say 40 'Hail Wilders' and sing GCB all day.

BTW, who gives a toss about when you found it. It still counts you know.....

I was stuck overseas for the Bouncing Day Massacre so of the games I went to in 2017 I think MK Dons away was a truly memorable experience. Loved it.
