Keep him until JTW. Reassess our promotion charge then, if we’re looking good try and keep him, if we can’t do that then sell him for £35m early window and replace with 2 x perm players who can make the transition into the PL.

No you don't. He has a contact with his salary stipulated. What he negotiates with a new club is another matter.
He has a contract. You want to slap a £50 million price tag on him. He already has a £35 million tag and you want to change his contract to a £50 million price tag. his wages go up.

In and around the starting line up:
Brewster - 22
Ahmedhodzic - 23
Norrington-Davies - 23
Bogle - 22
Doyle - 20
McAtee - 19
Ndiaye - 22
Amissah - 21

On the fringes of the first team:
Arblaster - 18
Coulibaly (remember him from pre-season?) - 21
Osula - 19
Jebbison - 19
Gordon - 20

It's an exciting young team being put together, but still a work in progress. So far Ndiaye, Ahmedhodzic are the stands out, as Bogle will be when he returns from injury. It's mad to think he's only 22 and younger than Ndiaye in months given the top performances we've seen from him. As for the most under rated, that has to be Norrington-Davies who quietly goes about his game. Rarely an 8 or 9/10 man but consistently a 6 or 7/10 every game. Never a match winner but never the cause of a loss either. He has the same consistency as Basham before he became a marauding overlapping fullback.

I don't see how that ties in at all.

But anyway, he had another one of those quality games where he puts in next to no effort but looks a world beater. Assisted the third goal as well. 7/10 from him tonight. Not the performance of a sulker.

But I know things can change.

One of the finest players I've seen
My rationale is that he didn’t get ‘pulled’ from the team pending a transfer which usually happens

Thought he was better today than last time out. Certainly not at his best but confident to try things even if they mostly didn't come off. Hopefully back to full match fitness now.

In a 45 minute half, everything that is good and frustrating.

Glides past players in the final third and into the box….yet slow to receive possession, loses possession and indecision in the middle third.

Too much of a luxury…or an essential potential game winner driving forward??

Looks a liability of losing the ball late on in games aawell

He's just so much better when he's playing further forward, he needs to stop starting so deep. Hopefully that's the plan now that Doyle is back

Berge will be reyt. He's shown before that it can take him a little longer to find his bearings. He was better today, the signs are encouraging.
Really? I thought he was dog shit today, everything that’s bad about him.

Haven’t we established his position is more advanced? He’s always poor in that deeper position.

He’s without doubt a luxury player, and if finances dictate it’s important he’s the one we lose over Ndiaye. Worth a fraction of his value though.

Takes too long to do things, plays like he's got all the time in the world when he hasn't.
I think we all think it's all going to come good because we've all seen fleeting examples of the obvious quality but I wonder now after nearly 3 years since he signed, if we'll ever see the player we all hoped he'd be.

Imagine, if you will, a player of high quality, destined and earmarked for one of the better clubs in the top divisions of European football. Imagine such a player in our side, in the workaday, thud and blunder of the Championship. What such a player, even at half-pace, would do in these games

Instead, we still have an amazingly high number of our fans who think this lad is such a player. And although he can do the odd really good thing now and again, or even for 10 minutes sometimes, the same old list of excuses trotted out week after week after week.

Today and last week he's not match fit.

Lowe isn't match fit. Compare and contrast.

How long do you keep a player who's 'getting up to speed', 'coming back from injury', 'tired', 'struggling with the physicality of the league', 'needs better players around him'?
He'd be better on Brugges' treatment table with €12m in our bank account. Overrated and soft as shit.

I gave him a 6 out of ten.. it would have been a 5 but given him the extra point for the good work on the third goal..

.. still too much of the invisible man routine for long periods.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I came to that conclusion a while ago. There are just too many excuses about why Berge doesn't rip this division a new one. Those excuses are wearing thin after 3 years. I like the lad but he is a bit of a softie. Not sure he's ever going to the player that we hoped he could be at the Lane. Still, whilst ever he pulls on the red n white stripes I'll support him but I wouldn't be upset if we sold him for a decent offer. I'd rather have Doyle than Berge.

He tends to promise mountains and delivers molehills.

Idiotic comments. The guy is class. Maybe the thick cunts want a Montgomery or Doyle type player back. FUCKING HELL!

Bravo.

Seemingly, there are a lot of thick cunts knocking about..... (see we can all use the C word if we want...).

Ooopps forgot. Add a 'FUCKING HELL' in for good measure. That'll make my point more valid. Daft prick.
