I have no idea what's going on with Lunny's contract talks (I'm guessing they're not going very well) but I'm struggling to see why he's not starting at the moment.

Berge is the future there but is clearly struggling to get up to speed with the pace of the Premier League. He's been one of our weaker players in every game, so far. It will come but we've looked a significantly more dangerous attacking team when Lunny has come off the bench. He should be starting really, especially against teams like Brighton who are going to come and defend.

Lunny is far more effective for the team then Berge, so should start, bring Berge on for the final 15 to see out the game and get the speed of our play.

Berge is better. He'll improve game on game and once he's up to speed he'll be top quality. Lunny had a great start to the season, went downhill the last couple of months and should probably be a rotation player from now on.

Berge for me, you can just see he his class. Rarely gives ball away. Holds the ball in a languid style that is effortless. Weight of pass is perfect. Second half was getting better and better.

Other things to note.

Enda - what a rocket, scored some good team goals this jaunt but that was great to see a thunderbolt for once.

Osborn - must have been bricking himself to come on for Enda - did really well and took it to them, great stuff.

Goldy - we've missed him, great cameo, oozes quality, good to see him back.

McBurnie- huffed and puffed but 20 million -really? Was knackered on 60 would have liked to see Moose for him.

Lundstram apart from the goal last game hasn't been that great. He was good at Palace but was poor against Bournemouth, and I don't think he was better than Berge today.

Besic was having a good run maybe he should be involved.

Berge, he’s the future, Lenny = half a decent season...dropped off recently.

I think people have amnesia from last season...he’s was dog shit..

If he doesn’t sign fuck him and we move on...he’ll end u like Duffy but without the hero status..playing his trade in the lower end of the champ or L1

I’d actually swap Lunny for Besic as second choice to Berge

Berge for me, his teammates arent helping . He took up some great postions around the box but they didnt pass to him. Think they like Lunny more to be honest. Hopefully, they will get used to him.

Whilst I agree Berge is the future it's not his position and he's not up to speed. We're struggling to create and score and the stats don't lie.

Mousset - Involved in 9 goals
Fleck - 7
Lunny and Baldock - 6

I can 't believe people are writing off Lunny as well. He was a reserve last year and look what a huge improvement he's made in a year. He's only 25.

Unfortunately it’s not even close.

If we compare them over 3 games Lunny is miles ahead.

Berge was completely anonymous first half and seemed very unsure about how to link with Bash and Baldock when we had possession.

I thought he was excellent in the second half, really has a great touch. I do agree that the Lundstram “half-winger” role doesn’t seem like a natural fit. But I can’t see Norwood dropping out because he’s in good form at the moment.

If I were a gay I'd prefer Berge, as no one ever got excited about munching on a Lunny.

Lunny for me.

Whether it's good or bad, you always know Lunny is on the pitch. 100% every game a proper athlete with talent and desire.

Here we go again. We need to cut the kid some slack and give him time to settle in, and to do that he needs to play games. A big price tag is no indication on how quickly a player will settle. It was the just same with McBurnie and Mousee but at least they had a preseason and were used to the English games. He’s arrived mid season from a foreign league and yet some still expect him hit the ground running, it was never going to happen. Let’s just back him and Wilder’s judgement In this matter, Lundstram might not even have a future at the club.

I like Lunny and if he finally decides that he wants to stay with us and battle for a place then great, if he plays like he did early season he’ll be a real asset and the two can fight it out to start or maybe they both can play. But let’s not forget that prior to coming on at Palace, he‘d been absolutely shocking for weeks, the teams weakest link by far. He can hardly feel let down by the club finding a quality replacement for him because quite frankly he’d wanted dropping for a while.

berge is a fucking don. he's misplaced a couple of passes granted (one that cost us last week), but he look so good on the ball. wish we'd pass it to him a bit more tbh. saw him make some really nice runs today but ball was passed to someone else.

This is a difficult choice for me as lunny has been brilliant this season but seems to have dropped off the last 2 months. Berge was only playing his 3rd premier league game today and actually looked quite assured on the ball. I think berge is the future but he clearly needs game time to get himself up to speed. CDM would be a better position for him but you can’t drop Norwood!!!.⚔️⚔️⚔️

Before we signed Berge,Mo had the shirt and was doing fine because Lundstram had faded from early season promise.

Berge is here now and gets the shirt based on him costing 22m quid even tho he has been poor in the role he is playing,Lundstram is bench warming and when he does come on looks much better than Berge..............poor owd Mo can't get a lookin now he must be fookin scratchin his head as why he has been bombed out.
