Saw this the other day and didn't realise it was a year old. Still a good watch if you've not seen it. Apparently, he was in the away end. Now there's a wannabe Blade if ever there was. But how did he get a ticket though..? 🤔

He was in the away end, he was sat in front of me making all his notes on the game.

Nothing will ever top that goal IMO

Greatest goal and the greatest limbs

One of my favourite away days ever. Especially living in Harrogate. I think I wore my Blades jacket the following day in town. Of course I did.😂

Come on, who loaned him their loyalty points?

I like Ben Bloom, always balanced, talks a lot of sense and he has a soft spot, (or a hard one) for us Blades.

It’s was soo good being in that away end for that game.
Thanks, you know who you are, for the ticket.

I probably hadn't realised it until I watched that video, bit that really was a vintage Championship year wasn't it?

Despite Wednesdayites declaring it a weak division that year (and every other year that we are at the top end).

About 4 year old innit ?

Remember that day! A group of us always went to the pub to watch the 6 Nations (Rugby Union) 'Super Saturday' when all the teams play on that day. We started it years ago by booking a VIP Room at the Forum - food and pool, but eventually it grew into booking places just to see it in a pub anywhere - Cardiff, Dublin and Rome etc.
That year we went up to Edinburgh in a 7 bedroom AirBnB apartment.
Knowing the game was on, about 4 blades (and a few Wednesday partners) went into the City to watch the game.
We ended up in this really down and out bar - full of locals. I think (but I'm not googling it) Crystal Palace were playing on the main TV and kicked off before the Blades game.
The barman wouldn't change channels, but agreed to put our game on a small screen in the corner with no sound on.
After the PL game finished I asked him to switch audio, but he said he couldn't do it, so we all sat around the table watching the match in silence.
The pub had no sound as they had turned the volume down on the big screen, waiting for the 3pm kick-off and the silence made us silent too! We didn't shout or call out, we whispered between ourselves, the only sound were the locals chatting.
When the ball got put through to Basham, we all stood up - in silence - the people in the pub noticed us and stopped talking, the ball went into the net and we all jumped up and down - without making any sound and everyone in pub looked on as 5 people jumped up and down hugging each other without any noise - we sat down, had a sup, and then the bar lit up again as people started talking and joking amongst themselves.
Was a really bizarre moment and will never forget it!

I couldn't get a ticket to it, so was watching in Kirkham prior to watching Stockport away to Fylde. Pub didn't know what hit them

So forgive me for asking, but is the "Bashams arriving" quote a repeat from his goal at Swindon in the play off.

Nothing will ever top that goal IMO

Greatest goal and the greatest limbs
Duffy v Pigs
Sharp v Bournemouth
Bash v Leeds

In that order IMO during the wilder years anyway

Only other one to come close to those since then would’ve been Ndiaye in last min of playoff 2nd leg ET last season.
