I would take Ben Mee and Japhet Tanganga over JLT and Anel any day

I like Tanganga, but he isn't as good as Ahmedhodzic in my opinion.
I think history will eventually favour Anel. Annoying persona / attitude, but at this level he was clearly very elite. Good build, great athlete, brilliant on the ball and carried attacking threat.

Ben Mee over Jack Robinson I'll give you.

But don't forget we had Souttar for half a season (the half we accumulated more points).
None of our options are as good as he was.

And, to be honest... Wilder not replacing Souttar was his single biggest mistake last season.

I don't think he offers as much attacking threat as Anel, but he looks class defensively. One of the few bright sparks in recent weeks.

I've heard a rumour that Souttar is coming back?

He never replaced JOC either, which also proved our undoing. Not sure what goes through his head sometimes, you'd think he'd have learned from the JOC situation - I think he thought JLT was better than he is.

Souttar will not be coming back.

1) Why would Leicester loan him to us in the same division?

2) a massive risk to take a player who has been out with a major injury for 12 months. Do we really want 2 players in our squad who are coming back from long term injuries (ie. Arblaster)

Great vid guys.

He is a good lad is Benjamin and I also love his music.

He has the potential to be bang wrong with this though, like he was with Luton last year.

Teams that don't score, go down. It's as simple as that.
Somehow we have to turn a team that don't score into a team that scores. With the same players.

Oh and IF we can achieve regular scoring, that's only half the problem as ps, we also don't get clean sheets either.

Time will tell if we can do it. But we are into a monumental mess so far.
Problem is that we was pretty goal/shot shy last season with a better team. We've then knocked out any confidence/ swagger of our players that was playing at top of their game (Campbell, Burrows, hamer) which a lot of goals came from coupled with losing players such as JRS & moore (small contribution) which again is a loss in goals and attacking threat, and not replaced them.

Again on top of that we lose Souza who was a midfield destroyer and such a big presence for us, which again we haven't replaced.

As you say Wilder has a lot to do to turn it around, we need to try and limping by until January where we can send back all loans bring in some better players and move some youth / fringe players on loan.

JTW will be one of the biggest windows in recent years for us, we need to get it right this time to avoid relegation.

You’d think as a defender he’d be more able to spot a decent one.

I do worry that he prioritises attitude and application over ability when judging players, as that’s probably how we ended up with an out of position BBD over Rak-Sakyi

At which point the owners look at the last one with 10 mill Tom ( I know, I know) Holding that never played and Clarke who lasted as ling as thus took to type and go " This guy wants MORE money??"

Suspect Widz will need to get a rune out of what hes got in the main.

Selling Moore wasn’t the mistake (33 with a couple of years left on a big contract), selling him without a replacement in mind was stupidity.

McBurnie wouldn’t have worked in this team with a manager playing him as a single target man. We tried that for years and it didn’t work
We should have kept Moore and added a younger similar player to the squad.
