Yes, having footballers who can actually run around is a terrible tactic for any team.
Running ain't enough, a ball comes into it at some point and if a player has little ball skill, all the running in the world will not help.

Obviously, but you could also have all the technical talent in the world but if you just stand in the middle of the pitch all game and don't put the running in you would be a complete waste of a shirt. You'd get much more from a team of players willing to run all day than a team of players who don't run at all. It's why the fitness of players is such a major factor in terms of team success.

You never saw Jimmy Hagan in his later years.

Jimmy Hagan last played for United over 60 years ago. There's no relevance between that example and football as it is today.
Maybe we should stop drooling over TC then seeing as its nearly 50 years since he palyed for us

Personally I have never 'drooled' over TC but then I never got to see him play. Not sure what relevance this has to my comment though, I wasn't suggesting that you can't appreciate the ability of players from many years ago, who were clearly very good during their time.

Would have preferred to have little ozzy in that midfield today!!

Only kidding hahaha ha lol

He should start every game until he's injured again

Oh...... he's injured already? Well, when he's back, he should start every game until he's injured again

To be fair to him Ozzy could do a better job in central midfield than Norwood. He can't win aerial battles, but neither can Norwood. He can and will track back and tackle, which Norwood can't do and gets out run every match, so Ozzy 1, Norwood 0. Ozzy's distribution is normally woeful or backwards, so he's level with Norwood for that, and his set pieces are garbage too, just like Norwood. So in summary, Ozzy is a minor upgrade on Norwood. 🤣

He has his limitations but he is also an absolute grafter and a very likeable lad. He’s like a yappy little terrier who has so much persistence snd courage for his ability & size. Excellent squad player and today, coupled with other performances shows that he can step up when asked.

Not quite at ‘give him a new contract’ territory but he deserves his flowers today. Without him we don’t win that game.

Ozzy was great. Used the ball well, good energy, and importantly excellent tracking back which gave Vini some welcome protection. Fully deserved his plaudits today.
