I dont know what happened there. He clearly was not at his best, but when he was in the team, particularly with McCallum on his left, we seemed to concede less goals....Our strength at set pieces ( both ends), seemed to drop off as well.

Not a great show v Mansfield Town though to be fair. Done for pace all game by a mediocre League one striker.

True but also covering 2 CBs positions in that match and having Davies in goal also had to cover the defensive leadership role. With Sereki, Mee, Tanganga and McCallum with Jairo sat in front we looked our strongest, that allowed for the right partnership with Brooks and Hamer playing into Bamford from the left. It was a shame it didn’t work out but Mee should have been a starter

Wouldn't be surprised if there was a clause in his contract that activated if he played a certain number of games.
Whether that be a hefty bonus, or an automatic trigger. But he clearly hasn't been in the manager's plans for the past 3 months.
