All seems to have gone quiet on that front - although probably because we've got Chris Porter.

I do wonder if/when we'll get someone in.

Judging by Cloughy's masterful transfer work in Jan, we should not worry too much about the quality of player that will come in. It's more a question of when the hell this goal machine will arrive.

Seen that some are musing the prospect of Lyle Taylor returning. Not sure he's the answer to be honest.

I appreciate your point but we currently only have 3 fit strikers at the club (porter, miller and Paynter) with 5 league goals between them all season. Surely there must be a striker well down the pecking order in the prem who can muster more than that between now and the end of season? We definitely need a striker!

We have deadly Chris Porter. Can't even get in the team but can score two goals in about 4 minutes. At that ratio, play him the full 90 and he'll get about 20 goals every game. What do we need another striker for?

If we can get to the quarter finals of the fa cup beating 3 teams in higher leagues, play offs has to be the aim in the last 4 months. With an inform Chris Porter we can beat anyone....
