with Rovverham on Monday. Dint know that was on, anyone got any info?

Can't see it posted (on page one can't be bothered to look further :p)

Does the Desso look good even on a Monday ?

Why would they do that, risking injury, hope it was just for those that are not getting games.
Yes of course it is. It will keep them match sharp and give them a chance to prove to Wilder if they have anything to offer. To which the answer is probably no for most of them.

Strong starting side, a striker scored a couple of belters.

Not going into more details as it's "behind closed doors" for a reason :)

Well, I hope it was Leon. He'll be a major asset in due course. The others mentioned have no future with us.

Sorry if I've missed something but why would it be a secret?

We'd have to kill you if we told you.

Remember:
Carless talk costs lives.
Loose lips sink ships
Gobby twats kill cats

(One of the above may not be a totally accurate WWII Ministry of Information phrase)

It's the first one ISC.
As a Ford mechanical engineer most of his life, my grandad was a keen motor enthusiast and would often tell his friends down the boozer about the latest innovation in auto technology.
He was encouraged against his will to join the war effort and was caught by the Germans and became a prisoner of war.
Fearing that he would be forced to help maintain the German war machine if they found out about his wealth of experience, he never made any mention to anybody about his work, even resisting sharing his passion with his closest mates.
He, and as far as I know, not one of the other POWs were killed during the rest of the war, so I reckon that's proof enough that it's the first statement that wasn't part of the MOI propaganda.
Although it does seem that cats have survived reasonably well to this day, so I'm not too sure now.

Could you just let us know whether it’s the striker who likes lollipops or the one with the 3 year contract?

I imagine the likes of Long, Wilson, Reed, Slater, Brooks, Scougall, Clarke, McNulty, Done, Chapman, possibly even the likes of O Shea and Carruthers etc. will all have been given some game time

He doesn't drape his cardie.

That's good. I don't think McNulty can contribute no matter how well he does for the reserves (unless possibly if Sharp gets injured). Clarke on the other hand could still have a part to play if he can get near his best which he hasn't done all season for us.

Indeed. I'm pleased it's him. I ought to say I didn't mean to use the phrase 'major asset' above at #22. I hadn't realised I had slipped into the cliché. I think he'll be an asset, nothing more.
