I got us reaching the play off's with 70 pts and T'pigs staying up by 1 point. Not including the Peterborough game. Newcastle champs and West Brom runners up.
To go down Peterborough 25 pts, Plymouth 38 pts and Scunny 42 pts. I do have us beating the pigs at Hillsborough though.
I have a soft spot for Scunny. I like their attitude as a club. They are nowt special, and they are determined to remain nowt special. They know their place in the grand scheme of things, and they will be ambitious, within their limits. They just seem to do the best they can, and accept when it comes up short.
I like Nigel Adkins too, and the way he can come out after a 1-5 drubbing and still be positive, and get the team playing again next match. He has the touch of Warnock about him in the way he sets up as Scunny vs. The World. I hope they stay up.
Anyway, here at the Temple of Positivity, I've got the pigs finishing second bottom on 39 points, (Peterboro and Bristol City also going) the dream of relegating them on their own turf whilst cementing our own play off spot is alive and well!! We sneak sixth by a point with Us vs. Swansea and Forest vs. Leicester as the play-offs. Cardiff miss out and disappear up their own arse in debt. Leeds miss automatic and lose to Huddersfield in the L1 play-off (this last one is wishful thinking...).
I can see Palace getting past them even if Warnock doesn't stay, Peterboro look gone, but Plymouth only have two games against top six from now till the end of the season, and they play five games against relegation rivals, so they look like they could get points. Pigs on the other hand have one game less and four games against top six, and only three against relegation rivals. After Reading away and Leicester at home, they have got consecutive away games at West Brom, Swansea and Preston in 7 days.
Anyway, if the pigs get beaten at Reading, then I reckon they are looking at a five or six game losing streak that will leave them second bottom. So there...
