The young fella is out 6 to 8 weeks and he is complaining about time wasting .I wonder if he would have chosen different words if it had been Adebola out for that time frame.

astonished that he didn't even get booked.. yet wardy gets sent off for 'intent' and never even made contact with the other player.. warnock hangover strikes again.. shame as bartley was starting to look the business.. on the sunny side.. at least wenger won't need him back for a while.. heh..

He was used as a battering ram/target by Mr Davies, who had the cheek to moan about our style of play (We apparently shouldn't have closed them down and just given them space, like Swansea did) on Radio Notts after.

He fouled Nos in the build up and managed to rile Blades fans and players alike without the referee feeling the need to even have a chat with him.

Clear foul on Nos for the goal but the ref seemed to ignore all the niggling and off the ball fouls Forest were doing all night.(When was putting your arms round someone's neck and dragging them down not a foul?)

I thought Bartley and Nos formed an excellant partnership last night and in particular,i thought Nos had his best game for us and was our MOM

They did seem pretty solid as a defensive unit for the most part. I can't remember us being at Forest in recent times and having a first half with so little threat to our goal.

Nos looked calmer and more assured to me, he also took less chances with the ball. Having said that, I though similar about them both at Leeds too.

Hopefully wenger will continue to rant about his players getting injured and get this one into the spotlight. Would be nice for us to be defended for a change!

Er no, he wasn't.
He was saying that our wage bill will be in line with a club aiming for the play-offs.
I don't even understand why this is an issue as the manager and chairman are in agreement.

I agree Len, a wage bill is as good an indicator as any of where a side should finish - just look at the uncompetitive travesty that is the top end of the PL.

The fact is that our wage bill, high as it was/still is got badly spunked building a one dimensional squad, and we now need to recover from that. The quality and balance of the squad doesn't reflect the size of the wage bill.

Happily I think that the very early signs are that we have a manager who, in time, can get us punching much closer to our weight.

billy davies? time wasting? he's forgotten about his tactics at the lane in 08-09 season when their player got sent off early doors for lamping halford and they spent the rest of the match taking almost a minute for every set piece/throw-in/goal kick.

i really hate billy davies-he's a real prick. who talks about themselves in third person?!! (him apparently)

to keep in line with the thread-bartley has been our player of the season so far, he'll be missed badly for 6-8 weeks
