Another pig on ignore.
It's just not worth wasting a minute of your life on this tripe.
Agreed. Never rated him at Millwall. Rush of blood panicker in my view.Might be a hot take but I think he’s become more reliable than Tanganga, who is more erratic.
He's certainly come a long way since that first game disaster. He lacks some pace, but has upped his game and has done well. He still gets exposed thoughJust a note to say well done Bindon for turning it around![]()

Would i want us to sign him permanently as the first choice? No, but he'd be a decent back up / squad player if we could get someone better in the summer
You worry about him against a big bustling forward because he looks short of strength but as regards a footballer he's there. Good feet, composed, can pass.
Him and Cooper joint MOM on Saturday. Bindon Good Enough.
Souttar was very good, but I think with Tanganga we've actually been more dominant in the air from set pieces. It always became a wrestling contest at corners with Souttar. It’s a massive shame what happened to Souttar. Someone like him would be the ideal partner for Bindon.
Tanganga isn’t massively dominant himself. Both he and Bindon would look better partnered up with someone like Souttar.
At this point though I feel less nervous when Bindon is in possession over Tanganga.
Can't see us having the money post parachute payments to get someone better. He's certainly come a long way since that first game disaster. He lacks some pace, but has upped his game and has done well. He still gets exposed though

Yeah that's a very good point. I guess that this is now our levelCan't see us having the money post parachute payments to get someone better.
While it'd be funny to see Forest go down, they'd be more likely to sell him if they stay up. He's only now starting to look a steady Championship defender, so we might be able to get him for £2-3 million, with a buy back or sell on clause.

I also felt that in that game he got his injury he was starting to get exposed on the turn, whether he'd already got a knock, i don't know.
Yes Bindon and McGuinness are both very good at attacking set pieces. The Tanganga point was in direct reply to the Souttar question.Bindon seems to get on the end of more set pieces than Tanganga does for me. Both try to make more intelligent runs though.
Was a bit disappointing how few we scored from set pieces last season though when we had that monster at the back along side Anel who was really good in the opposition area.
Souttars main flaw was someone dribbling against him. Ball in the air or in front of him he mopped it up as he was good at reading the game.
Every championship defender is going to be flawed to a certain degree or they’d be in the league above. As far as flaws go, being dribbled passed or turned is probably the easiest to counteract as championship forwards are less consistent when dribbling and the tactics faced don’t very often involve playing straight through the middle at pace

And you are correct about Souttars reading of the game. He was better on the deck than in the air and was easily turned. Tanganga, for me is more of an all rounder i'd say, not being as strong in some aspects, but also not as weak on the turn
Edit - Souttar didn't also play in a side close to relegation zone, Tanganga didn't play in a blades side fighting for promotion.
Agreed on Tanganga getting into those battles and into the refs ear. I’d not have him as captain to be honest as he gets to distractedWhen Tanganga is good, he’s very good. He just does some weird / erratic things at times.
He can be quite slow and lazy in possession and telegraphs his passing sometimes. Seems to slow us down unnecessarily. He’s ran into trouble a couple of times and made some really dodgy passes out of defence. Yet when he’s really on it he looks perfectly comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Hes got sucked into silly battles at times and seems to lose his head slightly (Charlton) often getting in the refs ear but not being able to let stuff go.
A few times he’s attempted to watch a slow ball out of play, got caught and then got booked tugging down the player who’s managed to get round him and keep the ball in. Just keep it simple and deal with it first time.
Again he’s going to have a few flaws hence dropping out the top flight but his flaws seem more temperamental / judgement based rather than ability or physically.
