Not really bothered about the result in this competition. But very disappointed with how we played. Lots of the time too slow, no quick counter and lack of movement.

Selection, subs and tactics aren’t Wilders strong point. He’s show he’s same old since his return.

I love Wilders passion and love of football/SUFC but we’ve all got those qualities. We need a modern young professional tactician with modern ideas and methods not a crate of motivational Peroni on way home from a defeat.

As fans we took the game seriously and that's evident in the numbers of us that travelled including a lot of young Blades but this was hardly a good advert for our club.

The only positive for me was the fact that several players who need game time got game time.

Yes we lost & didn’t play well .. that said could easily have won & they go in & that this threads got a completely different narrative , that’s football .
My question is to anyone calling out team selection ..When does the manager play the kids , fringe players & those coming back from injury in a competitive game if we doesn’t do it in the Carabao Cup ? Let’s be honest there wasn’t too many complaints after the Wrexham game in the last round.
U23 football is a million miles away from these matches , this is an issue I’ve always said , the old Central League was a lot stronger & more competitive & offered a better bridge to the above

Great performances individually and worked hard as a team . Watford are decent and nit many will take the points off them this season.
Loads to work on but really looked like a team that gelled today .
