I'm not too sure anymore
Monty has been said to Barnsley to expect a backlash, but to be honest with the passion we seem to play with then we will get hammered. But if the Pigs can win them then surely we should.

Disappointed to hear that Kozzy looks unlikely to feature, would have given him a good reception personally.

2-0 to the Blades, Tonge and Stead of the bench

After predicting the correct result for Saturdays match this one has left me unsure.... I am quite looking forward to the match (hopefully that wont be any different at full time) But with our current home form ive not come to expect much .... but we all know the saying about where the form book goes in Derby matches!!!!

we dont have a good record against the dingles. Not optomistic, but then whats new!!

I remember a cracking game against the dingles a few years since, pretty sure it ended up 3-3 with Marcus Bent scoring in injury time. :D

Anyone know how many Dingles are coming, apparently the highest crowd of season is expected.

Who told you that?, at last check Barnsley had only sold just below 3k of their much bigger allocation.

Being as we are in the festive season, A festive song for tomorrow............

Christmas Time, Valium and wine
children indulging in petty crime
dad's on the smack and mums out of her tree
christmas is great when you come from BARNSLEY!!!!!

DOWN WITH THE DINGLES!!!!!!!!!

That is ace, be right good loads of fans singing that :)

It seems that sales have picked up and it won't be too bad tomorrow afterall! :)

Here's a way to cause trouble: (from www.barnsleyfc.co.uk)

THE Oakwell Box Office has now stopped selling match tickets for tomorrow's clash with Sheffield United.

No match tickets will be on sale from Oakwell ahead of the game.

However, Reds supporters will be able to purchase tickets from the Promotions Department at Bramall Lane, situated next to the Players Entrance, on the day of the game. Please note that this is a CASH ONLY facility.

On the OS, Robson wittering on about a local derby adding a bit of spice.

It's not a bloody derby match. It's Barnsley. Wendy matches are the local derby ones. The rest are just matches.

much much better! Thought we were the better team by far - Devaney is a cheating barstool!

Monty MOTM.

Tonge showed much improvement but still not what he can be - showed how good he can be towards end of match when he went on a few runs.

Don't really like Sharpy and would pick stead infront of him any day of the week but was impressed with his workrate and was very good on the ball for a change.

Decent performance and solid in defence.

The midfield played better not great but alot better than they last did at home.

Anyway a good win.

That was far better, I feel much happier after watching our players play with some determination. :)

Crap referee, but he didn't stop us.

Finally the players show a bit of passion

Robson finally takes Beattie off, did nothing except a superb challenge after sprinting 50 yards

But well played, much better, brilliant from Monty today who seemed to be wherever the ball was all the time

Need to push on now and take passion with us, we will miss Cahill IF he goes

Referee was a disgarce too for most of the game

UTB :D
