In a strange way, the likes of Bash, Baldock, Norwood and obviously Egan might benefit from Billy moving on.

Billy has been a great skipper and a great Ambassador for the club.

But as the undisputed Blades legend and fan it could have easily left others in the shade a bit, who have shown equal commitment to the club.

They were happy for Bill to be the main focus but perhaps now the likes of those mentioned above get a bit more chance to influence and a bit more responsibility.

Might be good for the collective overall.
