Darlington, Leicester ,3-1 win at pigs, Northampton in that order.
Then a selection of Peterboro 4-0 in 4th, Deano scoring in win at Anfield, 5-2 at Southampton and then 4-2 at Forest shortly after, FA cup win at Burnley, survival win at QPR (Oh ah Bob Booker !) MK dons recently.
Deano scoring in win at Anfield
Notable mention to the 2-3 defeat at Carrow Rd in the FA Cup when we were in Div 3 and they at the top of Div 1. We made an absolute racket that day and left with our heads held as high as they had been for some time.
Ipswich away playoff semi final 1997. Incredible scenes in the away end for Andy Walker's scrambled equaliser.
I threw up with nerves whilst listening to that on the radio!
Ipswich in the Play Offs. A mate of mine. (Are you out there "Stokes"?). Stood up & said - I can't take any more of this, I'm going to hide in the bogs.
He's back within 30 seconds. What's going on?
Can't get in there, everyone is doing the same..
We had a proper old skool After Bird Session on Spencer's Bus. Shred said - drink up Phil, the Law are here. I said - Spencer have you seen the Law with your own eyes.Longest night of my life. The tension was unbearable.
It was November 1991, the Saturday after we beat Wendy 2-0. The away end reverberated to the sound of "We beat the Wednesday 2-0" to the tune of 'Blue Moon'.From a purely personal perspective, I really enjoyed an away win at White Hart Lane in (I think) 1990: against the odds victory followed by a great night in London culminating in a lock-in and then a different away fixture with some lass I met in the pub.

Burnley v Hull City, 15 May 1984 in League Division Three. If Hull won by 3 goals (or more), they would pip the Blades for promotion. 2-0 up early doors, Hull failed to get that vital third goal and the Blades were up!

Many United fans were at that match.
