So despite what it would seem are the boards best efforts (not) to find a decent manager, it is now looking increasingly likely to be Chris Morgan next season..now will this affect our attendances next year? I for one would be surprised if we average over 16k..still one of the biggest in the division by far, there's no doubt in that but when you look at the overall feeling around the club and the fact it's a third season in League One, what are your average attendance predictions?

So if it's not Morgan then you will be happy that United have approached this in the right way or not? I for one won't be happy if Morgan gets the job, only because of his stupid gob after the Yeovil game but it won't stop me going. The worse we get, the more I see that my club needs me (without that sounding too gay)

As it looks more and more likely that Morgan will get the job, I'm regretting purchasing my season ticket more and more.

Do you really think we'll get more than 16K each game??!!

If he gets the job he has to learn to limit what he says. He made a too far open statement after the Brentford game I think, that made me wonder if he was the right choice. Bit of interview coaching for him perhaps.

WOn't take you long to turn on the new man then! haha

If it's Morgan, it isn't so much turned on him, but realised he was a step down from his predecessor, at the end of last season, making the decision to sack DW with absolutely no idea of where we would find a proper manager to replace him a farce.

I suppose it's following the same route as the playing staff. We get rid of somebody, then replace them with somebody much less able. It's working its way up the club. I think we'll struggle to do that once we get to the owner though!

Less than 15,000 and a shit season no where near any play off position.

Morgan will be the manager as no one with any experience will touch it with a barge pole based on the constraints imposed on their back room staff and the further lowering of the playing budget (as the predicted crowd base goes below 15,000 so too does the size of the budget available for players).

Who the hell, in their right mind, will want to take a job as political as the boss of SUFC and not have any trusted partners in their back room staff. It's a hiding to nothing, surely.

14,000-15,000 tops I reckon if Morgs gets the job. I sat behind him for the Yeovil game and neither him or "Rhino" offered anything at all to the players throughout the whole 90 minutes. I was genuinely surprised that he didn't tweak the team / tactics as the game progressed. As much as I love Morgs the player he looked like a rabbit in the headlights on the touchline. Give the job to somebody with some experience of League 1 at the very least please.
