There's no way we'll sign both if we get Marvin Johnson. That would take us to 6 loanees meaning one would have to miss out on the matchday squad. Still think we'll get Hogan. He wouldn't be able to play this weekend then the following weekend is international break which gives him a chance to gain fitness.

Not at all. He will need a full pre-season first.
 
Was highly thought of at Man United a few years ago.
Would have got a chance in the first team if he hadn't been on loan at Barnsley. Instead they had to play the next lad in the pecking order, a lad called Rashford. Fletcher then became surplus so they got some good money for him. Looks like it's gone gradually downhill for him since.
Would love to see us get him in and get him back firing on all cylinders.

Apparently loans that are arranged to become permanent don't count, ie Norwood.

Anybody know if that's right?
 
You have to wonder if we've just started to show a little bit of form at just about the right time, to get a deal over the line. A striker who may have previously been hesitating about coming here might now look at our last couple of games and think "hang on, they can play a bit" and consider coming here.

My worry is that McCabe/Prince will look at our recent form and say “What do you need a striker for, Chris? We put three past high flying Bolton!” :oops:
 
I’d be pretty happy with Fletcher... (but with a view to a permanent) he was on my list of unrealistic (because of cost) targets (along with Troy Deeney :)) started to look like he’d found his feet a little at the back end of last year...

That would be rather stupid would it notnot wilder has his budget and is building a team even our owners wouldn't be that stupid.
We are still a bit thin in forward positions so if anything he should be given more funds not less.
In any case we have been here before as Wilder threatened to go if not able to strengthen the squad .
Just don't understand why you came out with such a silly statement

Hope to fuck this isn’t true unless we’re signing more than 1. He scored 3 goals last year and both sets of fans who had him see him as a joke figure.

It’s not like he has a history of scoring goals either really is it?
 
Loans ‘with a view to becoming permanent’ don’t count in your quota it’s only ‘temporary’ loans that are restricted.
Means that if we sign MJ on the lwavtbp we can still get another two temps? Not sure if Henderson counts cos of his age, if so that’s another one.
