If it's true that we were after him, that's 2 of the top 3 clubs in the division. Does that not suggest that the professional management teams know a bit more about football than us?

For the record, I wasn't fussed on signing him either.

On a serious note, I can see him doing well there. Not ground breaking like it wouldn't have been for us neither, but a decent option for them off the bench and he offers decent experience. I'd rather him stay at Norwich than join Burnley. I'd also rather us sign McBurnie over Barnes and I'm guessing that Barnes signing for Burnley might be because they've missed out on McBurnie to us!

Especially as McBurnie 's twitter page has suddenly got a Blades background! If that's not an obvious clue as to his next move I don't know what is!

Those critical of Mcburnie potentially returning to United might want to consider that if Mcburnie had gone to Burnley we'd more likely have gone for Barnes and Burnley would have Mcburnie and us Barnes! Who would you rather have!?
