Did any of you moaners actually go to the game today?

I was as bemused by the team selction as anyone, but I admit that I was completely wrong. We played terrifically well for 60 ish minutes, but were eventually undone by a far superior team.

The tactics were fine - it was a kind of fluid 541 when defending and 442 when going forwards, with Keith tucking in and Geary moving wide left. Until the goals it was a tatcttically wise and disciplined performance. The one failing was that after Arsenal scored the team lost confidence.

Many many positives today - everyone played well, the defence looks better than all season (keep Jags in defence please), CKR was excellent, Hulse magnificent, shape and discipline much improved (Kidd's influence?).

All moaning muppets please save it for when it is deserved (which it often is admittedly).

we out played them in parts if our goal would of counted it might of been a different story but you cant really expect a win there still well done blades

Kazim Richards had some awesome skill yesterday, he managed to nutmeg Eboue and he played so well on the left wing as well.

We play such a different style of football to Reading.
Yes i agree it would be lovely to attack teams all the time, but it ain't happenin is it. We don't play like that at the moment.
They will come undone playing that kind of football against teams this season like we hav playing our style of football, but also they and we will get good results too.
They've carried on from where they left off last season very well. We have had a lot of changes since then and it's not worked ont YET. I hope it does and have confidence it will.
We should have beaten Liverpool & Blackburn but didn't. We can't change that now, we have to look to the next game and have confidence cos if we don't and the team don't who will?!

shef fu played well against reading

i was glad to see davis, gillespie and kazim in the starting line up.. i thought for the majority of the game we looked comfortable and claude and jags had a good understanding.. gillespie played well and delivered some good balls and hulse never stopped working...but 150K for kazim richards is a right bargain becuase yesterday for me he was one of the best players on the pitch...he even has a attitude that says he's good

did anyone see the face he pulled when eboue kept turning before he passes it backwards???
