I did think 4 or 5 games ago that this bunch of players were too good to go down. I was wrong. This is a squad completely lacking in guts, determination and character. When the going gets tough, we shirk challenges and hide away. The Pigs are gone, but at least they have a team that are fighting in matches, we concede 3 goals a game and throw away leads. We'll 100% lose the derby later in the month. These players don't have it in them to compete and fight.

Realistically, the we’ll be better after January theory relies on a very good JTW - and won’t actually make a difference until February.
Worrying times for the Blades.
The worry for me is if the gap is insurmountable from 4th from bottom

January isn't going to help. What evidence does anyone have to suggest otherwise? We now have the same clowns who oversaw last January which wasn't exactly a roaring success was it?

Feel similar.

Whilst I wasn't positive, I did actually think we could push on until January without being that good but be 7 or 8 points off the play offs.

I'm now finding it hard to see us above the bottom 5 by the end of the year.

We may well adjust the squad in January to stay up but I've given up on the possibility of us sneaking into 6th.

I can't believe none of the current squad have squared up to each other yet.

I could be totally wrong but I dont see people screaming for high standards.

Whose going to want to come here in January
It’s loans out for loans in
Sales before purchase and our only sellable asset at the moment is Ohare who wants to leave anyway

Tanganga was apoplectic today after the second goal but his arguing after Matos's pathetic dive and handball was futile.

At least Japhet clearly cares.

Its hard to see more than a handful at present that look genuinely annoyed with the situation.

Yes, I think we will have a better squad after xmas
After Xmas ?

We recruit like we move up the pitch - at a snails pace - so you must mean 'After 31 January'.

And what are we expecting from the January window ?

Who is going to take all our flops ?

What money will be available ?

We normally borrow in anticipation of parachute instalments so unless the owners are gonna go all "Chansiri" on us , don't we have to start cutting our cloth ready for the coming financial cliff edge ?

Bettis in his interview the other week, already, stated that they'll be looking at the last week of the January window again! For loans, if so relegation is stuck on with this set of clowns !

I stuck £15 on relegation at 33/1 after the 3rd game under Selles. When Wilder was reappointed I was going to cash out, but for a colleague at work saying “I’d leave it”. Only £15 to lose I thought, I’ll let it run.

It looks like it’ll pay for next year’s season ticket now.

This absolute shit show is further compounded by how poor the league is this year.

Changed my vote after yesterday.

Too many players are not up to it.

May change again if Arblaster comes in and hits the ground running but it’s looking like the summer put paid to any achievement and just not getting relegated with Wednesday will be an achievement.

I reached the conclusion yesterday that our maximum ambition this season is to stay in this division.

COH's terrible summer will cost them a lot of money, as the silver ticket they had this season with the parachute money has gone.

Next season they'll be coughing up a lot of subsidy money.

Wilder needs to up his game hugely and read this set of lily livered weasels the riot act. Now is the time to prove if he's a good manager or not. Two months to get a tune out of them.

If he loses the derby it'll get toxic.

I reckon COH’s investment has diminished massively now. If they really did pay £105 million - I reckon it’s down to £60 million now and if relegated to League 1 - maybe as low as low as £30 million. I would not be surprised if the majority of the initial investors are pushing to bail out asap……….if they can find a willing buyer?

A bloke in Thailand is looking for a new club I’ve heard 🤣

I haven’t seen us play a genuinely good side this season, and I would include Coventry in that, but we are by far the worst side in the division, I don’t care what the table might say.

If we can’t either get 6 points or 4 (with a good performance draw) from the next two, I think that’s probably it.

We have never been a club to fight off relegation. We either go down convincingly or in bizarre circumstances like 94 & 07.

Feels like it’ll be a miracle if this group of players and coaching staff avoid relegation at this rate.

Losing a game we expected to lose doesn't change the maths one iota, why has this been bumped
