It was as good as we could hope for at this early stage of his comeback.

Still not taking it on the turn like he used to and maybe playing a little within himself, but he looked to get on the ball as often as possible and kept it moving.

he’s not fully match fit but his class shines through. He’s fantastic at dictating the tempo of the game, he may not do anything flash but I think he’s a premier league player

He’s a terrific player. Comparisons with Peck are unnecessary, but seeing as it’s a common theme I’d put OA a level above SP at this stage.
Would love them both to have a long stint with us ,but losing at least one of them in feels inevitable.

We just have to sell him at the right time.
Losing him for £10m whilst we're still in the Championship would be a travesty.
He'll write this season off due to his fitness and us probably missing out on promotion, but if we could get another season out of him he could probably take us up. Even then we'd need to stay there and even push on to even stand a chance of keeping him.

I do too, but I'm struggling to think of a good midfield balance that includes Peck and Arblaster.

Riedewald has to start as the DM, so the only way to make it work would be a 4-3-3 and I've never liked the look of us when we've played it in the past.

A 5-3-2 is out the question as you'd be dropping Hamer & O'Hare to make it work.

I did a bit of a Blaster watch today, and his quick, accurate passing was a joy, never over ambitions but I did not see a miss placed one.

The other thing of note was I did not see him involved in a single tackle, that could be as after they went to 10 men he was in loads of space, he passes the ball before anyone gets the chance to tackle. He did not shirk a tackle but they hardly had the ball. Obviously this is good whilst he is getting match fit.

No point comparing him to Peck, totally different players and a joy to have them both.Not sure if they will work together as neither is that defensive. Peck allways avaliable, tackling, win the ball back. Blaster the distributor who did have a tackle before so hopefully will again.

As much as I love Peck and Blaster and rate them both highly. Jairo has to play, he's been something else since he signed. Not seen a player read the game like he does since McGrath.

But he doesn't need to, he's always in the right place at the right time. Never has to dive in, or chase, never gives the ball away. You can tell he came through the Ajax system.

The biggest mystery, is why he was without a club, until we picked him up? Like Bamford kept himself as match fit, as he could be, without actually playing. To me that shows both of 'em just wanted to play some football and credit to United for giving them the chance. This time doing it sensibly as well, here's a short term deal, let's see what you got

Perfect game for him today. I was surprised at how long CW left him on which is a really encouraging sign. He got a full 70 mins under his belt and looked really comfortable. Despite them being a dirty team there weren't any rash tackles flying in on him which was good.

We've produced some great players that have gone on to play for England, Harry and DCL another two. What really boils my piss, is we never get a decent fee for the players we produce, or see them play in a Blades shirt in their prime

He's the epitome of all good footballers, looks for and always available for the ball and when he gets the ball he's always looking forward and looking to make a positive attacking move, a gem of a player. If he didn't get injured and l might add Soutter we would have been promoted

Yeah I said they were dirty. To be fairn2 of their players did get booked early on for pull backs amd the ref sent Doyle off so I don't think we can complain about that.

However the lino on the south stand side had no idea what was going on with numerous obvious off sides missed. I havent watched Bamfords goal back but he looked a mile off to me.

I was in south stand pretty much in line and I thought it was well off side. However There's a photo on here somewhere which seems to show he was level with defender when Blaster played the ball.

It's a massive ask for him to even get a cap in today's environment.
England are exceptionally well stacked.

Arblaster / Peck would have to leapfrog Wharton / Anderson / Rice / Eze / Bellingham / Rodgers etc. to get into that side. I'd hate to say "no chance," but the odds are very slim.
