Definitely not the same player and if Wilder continues to play him there will be calls of favouritism which wont do a thing for moral which is low anyway.Can be seen in the players body language match after match.
He can't go out on loan until January and can't see a championship club taking him.1st division will be his destination in my opinion.Hes had a tough time with injury but hes finding 1st team minutes with blades and not up to it in my opinion.Future son in law to Wilder! It puts pressure on Blaster and Wilder needs sorting!.

Campbell, BBD, Doherty, RND, Davies, Riewewald, and Ayew (WTF!!) should be nowhere near having contracts at a club like United.

Chong, Cannon, McGuinness and Choudhury are all also well short of the standard required.

I respect your opinion, mate but (imo) Adam Davies did nothing that most lower league goalkeepers wouldn't have done last season. If he'd been in goal this season we'd have been absolutely battered in every game as most decent shots seem to beat him.

He's an atrocious keeper and a dangerous bloke to have at No.2 as, if Cooper get injured, we'd lose every week. It's sheer negligence that he hasn't been replaced and I pray that he's never needed. His biggest strength is that he's rarely required. Watch him warm up most weeks. He just doesn't even look interested. He's stealing a living.

We should be looking to move him on in January. Loan or a cheap fee but with a decent sell on.

He’s miles off being a Championship level player. He could get back to it, but it shouldn’t be us trying to get him back to that level when we have other options in his position. Forget the sentiment and move him on. Won’t happen though.

I felt we should have sent him on loan to a league 1 club this summer and assess him in January. Get some game time and his confidence back without the pressure of trying to do it here. Obviously we would have needed another midfielder in, preferably someone over 6ft, fit, can handle himself...wait that's the next James Bond.

It’s embarrassing how far off his previous level he is when he’s only 22, you might be forgiven for such a steep drop off if you had to recover from that injury around 30 and even then there’s probably plenty of examples of players who managed it.

May sound harsh but he's contributed absolutely nothing this season , we know it , wilder knows it , the squad know it and most of all he probably knows it himself .

Id imagine the other squad members making way for his inclusion will be pretty miffed to say the least.

I think we'll see definitively whether he'll ever get back to his previous level post break. He has the minutes in his legs, he has the trust in his body, and now he has a break to refresh. Now it's time to prove he can still do it consistently.

We are clearly managing Phillips workloads and probably should do the same with arblaster but to have two players in roughly the same position in that cotton wool mode isn't great

We did last year when he played. Cooper had little to do today, so Davies would have been fine.

He did nothing (imo) last season that a lower league goalkeeper wouldn't have done. My memory doesn't recall him playing any game last season when he performed anything more than average, which to be fair is better than he usually seems capable of. He certainly didn't 'save' us points at any stage, did he?

We aren't going to agree, and maybe I am being a little harsh on him, but he looks permanently scared to death to me when he plays and I can't believe he 'pushes' Cooper in training at all.

I still think we'll be in big trouble this season if he has to come in for any length of time but I sincerely hope we don't find out.

Id imagine the other squad members making way for his inclusion will be pretty miffed to say the least.

He's in the side ahead of Rothwell and Riedewald but if either of them are miffed that Arblaster is starting ahead of them then they're deluded as they're lucky to even be employed based on their own performances this season.

That's not to say he's been great, but he's better than both of them, with Seriki back Choudhury also becomes an option to take Arblaster's spot but he's absolute dross as well.

Not sure how anyone thinks piling on Arblaster is in any way productive, even if we go back to just two central midfielders, he's still going to get regular playing time because Phillips can't do 90 minutes three times a week and every other option is worse.
