Also did some whispering a bit like Gage. Though I did like Duffy audibly making tut sounds whenever we did anything below standard.

Obviously was better than Gage, but no real passion or energy to his co-comms weirdly.

We’re not going to get Ally Mccoist. Anyone that does the job is going to be a novice.

I prefer to listen to Duffy talk about what he expects players to do and what players will be saying etc than Gage talking nonsense

I must be one of the few that can't watch or listen to McCoist. It's like listening to a overexcited schoolboy that's had too much pop to drink. I switch off if he's on when I tune into TalkSport breakfast (which I do less & less these days), just as I do when he's on co-comms on games. I think it harks back to QoS when he tried to follow the example Carson and Hughes and ended up just acting like an annoying tit like Tuffnell and Dawson.

He seems like he’s a bit of a fan but not an expert summariser or what ever they call the co-commentators nowadays.

Duffy was very knowledgable & critical where he had to be, particularly of Berge. He wanted him to drive with the ball more vs Boro. It was a good listen in my opinion.

Agree.....its quite weird really.
He tends to be positive about us, quite bias like he's a fan, obviously he admits he is a fan.

He's no difference to John Pearson at S6.
They seem to love his positivity and bias, some of our fans, for some reason, hate positivity.

To be fair I don't mind him either, I just accept that his opinions are often bias in favour of us and aren't that insightful.
However if he left I'd miss him. Where as Carl Asaba is able to be very critical (positive and negative) dependent on the game and I like his style too.

Kevin Gage uses words like fantastic when it was good, brilliant when it was ok etc. He is in my opinion a very poor commentator of our games. I invariably mute him for most of the game. I would prefer anyone else rather than Kevin Whispering Gage.

Turn up the crowd noise no atmosphere whoever is in charge sort it. You complain they do nothing and as for Gage I spend most of the match shouting shut the fuck up Gagey
