Basham touches Lacazzettes foot, he throws himself in the air. Pen
Slightest touch or no touch Arsenal players dive free kick.
No crowd, no atmosphere.
Listening to Steve McManaman who is so biased to the big club rather than little old Sheffield!
Rules changed to 5 subs instantly favours the big clubs.
Lundstram injured further destroys the season.
I know it's a rant, but since the restart I have fallen out of love with a game I have watched for 45 years.
Wilder has done an amazing job, it's just sad to see the season end like this.
Rigged? Caveblade ? If so, it's financially rigged in United's favour. This season, Utd are receiving far more money than we ever have. We're receiving that money because the 6 get all the breaks. We have to let the 6 get all the breaks, if you like - we have to let it be rigged. That's where the money to buy our own ground comes from. That's where the money to buy Berge comes from. From the 6.I am not knocking United. There were positive signs today.
It's more the over whelming bias financially and on the pitch to 6 teams.
VAR and the rule changes have made the game worse and cheating is an acceptable part of the game.
The phrase " he felt a touch so went down" sums it up.
Sorry Phil I can't agree, the whole thing is rigged. Even down to hoovering up young talent from other clubs.
We have been magnificent this season but the break has absolutely played into the hands of big clubs with bigger squads and strength in depth. We didn't vote for 5 subs which just plays into the hands of Chelski etc.

Don't for one minute think I want it to be like that. But, let's not be naive. Our financial future currently depends on the PL money, which depends on the continued success of the 6.

Keep the faith kozzy. We got spoiled before lockdown and maybe had a sense of false security but to go the entire season without setbacks would be Liverpool esque. I feel your pain but was great to see didz finally net. Look for more of those positives, despite having to play 12 menThis restart is really starting to piss me off.
There may or may not be a need for an inquisition into how the creativity and tempo has fallen off, but the fact that this side had been settled into a stable XI for so long, cannot be underestimated.
1. Villa - slow after the restart, far from in our stride, but so we're many teams. Should have won 1-0.
2. Newcastle - Egan red card and the game plan goes to shit. This, couple with VAR in the previous game and heads drop. Confidence is easy to knock and it can spread like wildfire.
3. Man U - a resurgent side against a patched up XI, low on confidence.
4. Arsenal - now this. Glimpses of promise back, the team trying to play, not at our previous levels but a bit back to where we were, or at least it's a step in the right direction - albeit improving on the first 3 isn't hard.
Maybe an inquisition isn't needed. Maybe the above accounts for it.
What I am starting to hate though is how in the first half of the season there appeared to be something most weeks that demonstrated our character and resilience, as with Billy's late equaliser at Bournemouth, for example.
Now, it feels as though there's something to go against us each week, I'm starting to watch for the sucker punch: Enda's miskick, VAR not reacting, Egan's pathetic first booking, switching off for the Arsenal second.
Still, all I cared about most from today was a glimmer of us trying to play, and a bit of character. I got a bit of the former and some of the latter in McGoldrick's equaliser. It has to turn around soon, maybe there's hope.
