I recall a large ammount of abuse being hurled at the Ward signing. A lot of people said he wasnt what we were looking for and was un-established.

That's right. Some even resorted to calling him a dwarf:thumbdown: They know who they are and should be ashamed of themselves. I remember replying saying there were a lot of great players of small stature ie a certain Mr Owen.

So am i, but i doubt Blackwell would sign me.

Jamie Ward was cheap as well, and if we haven't got a lot of money it's these types of transfers we should be looking at, not past-it over 30's who haven't had a decent scoring record for years, imo.

Also, why are Walker and Naughton switching places? We have Walker on a season-long loan haven't we? I'm all for Naughton coming back, but it would be great if we got last seasons defense back together (with Killa replacement).
