Seriously, and I've mentioned this before, wouldn't it be an idea to train a CCTV camera on the queue and a live feed on the OS so that people can decide if it's worth nipping down in the lunchtime, after work etc.?

been 6 times to the ticket office and queue as been past memorial garden, even trying at quarter 7 last night so after no joy this morning decided to ring me and my partner were both on phones for a good 20 mins finaly got through to be 13th in queue then another hour all this for a ticket for tonight and port vale tickets

It must have eased off. Called in to the Lane at 3 today, there were only 7 or 8 people queuing. Took less than 10 mins to get in and out.
