Shoreham Street - Til Death Us Do Part
Add last nights post match interview to every single one before it, ok it was in bad circumstances.......ok most post match interviews have been in bad circumstances but even his pre match interviews and all interviews in general and I can't help but notice a distinct lack of personality and character. I see no enthusiasm in him towards the club, I see no real emotion and overall both in his words and his actions in my opinion he doesn't come across very well and I wonder if it is the same way in the changing room.
Now those who don't like Warnock speak for yourself because I love the bloke for his passion, I love the bloke for how he comes across in his interviews. He speaks out loud and proud, he might be wrong but he loves what he does and he loves his club and he wants to win games so even if he is wrong he speaks his mind and gives everything. A similar character to Warnock and another manager who I admire is Ian Holloway, another one who sticks his neck on the line, he speaks out and shows passion in his interview, he loves his club and it shows in words and actions.
The modern day Clough's are my kind of manager!. I want to see a gaffer climbing the walls when we win and I equally want to see a manager biting his bottom lip and showing some real emotion when we lose. I want a manager who speaks out whether right or wrong and one who wants to be heard. Let's be fair all of the three name drops above in Warnock, Ollie, and Cloughie never did far wrong and have all had decent careers as a result of it.
If this is how Davey Weir comes across to me does that mean it's the same in the changing room?.
So theres another thing that bugs me about Weir. I see no passion, I see no flare, I see no real emotion, I don't see a man who throws everything at it, I see no real love for what he is doing and Sheffield United........I'm not saying he doesn't have the above but he doesn't show it and it pisses me off!
