I think it really depends on how the player looks at this move, as I think it is safe to say, that he needs a change of scenery and maybe a change of people who surround him. If he sees this as that opportunity and that now is the time to focus on his football, then he could be a great success, as the talent is there. If he goes the other way and thinks he is Billy big bollocks, in the Premier League, then we could have a disruptive force in the changing room.
I would hope that he looks at someone like Ndiaye and learns from him.

No just saw a post about him coming for a medical in the star this morning today and it should be announced sooner rather than later just keep an eye on social media

The sequence of activities sounds right, together with some interviews - the timing seems very ambitious though!
